"Put yourself in the shoes of a refugee to understand their situation", with this campaign the UNHCR NGO intends to raise awareness and collect funds in the hall of the Hospital La Luz throughout the week of 28 August.

This work is to ensure that the international regulations on refugees are correctly applied, to find long-lasting solutions to the refugee situation, and offer them protection.

In the world, more than 43 million people have found it necessary to move due to conflicts, persecution and violations of human rights. UNHCR wanted to get close to the reality of these refugees so that they would no longer be a simple statistic, because behind each one there is a face and a story to tell. Because putting yourselves in the shoes of a refugee is to take the first step in understanding this situation.
