    As regards the VAPEL proof of concept, its main aim is to construct a functional prototype valid for expert use. For this, it has determined two main activities:
    • Real application pilot experiment, in a working context, with expectations of the company adapting to the assessments of suitability or unsuitability of their operators to perform tasks involving risk, and of the operators to accept the suitability/unsuitability assessment.
    • Construction of the scientific endorsement of the method through a control system or methodology tutorial.
  • LIFESENSSEI_logoLIFE SENSSEI: Formaldehyde Sensor System for Safe Environments in IndustryThe main objective of SENSSEI is to minimise the environmental and health impact derived from occupational exposure and the environmental concentration of formaldehyde in industry, through a global approach based on real-time monitoring and the implementation of new health and safety strategies. The focus for action is fixed on the exposure of formaldehyde in woodworking factories, and then to demonstrate that these results are replicable in other environments affected by the IED (Industrial Emissions Directive) and other key sectors exposed to formaldehyde such as the health sector.

Its aim is also to focus on the quality of life, but to take a wider demographic for the study (not limited to an age equal to or older than 55). From the analysis of the workers' epidemiological data, we will extract the algorithms that will feed the decisional platform, this will be a detection tool for early fragility and rapid intervention
